What the free motorbike check shows

Bike details
Make, model, year, colour, engine size in cc, fuel, vehicle type, first registration date and Euro status.
MOT status
Whether the MOT is valid, when it expires, the date and mileage of the last test and its advisories.
Mileage and keepers
The mileage recorded at the last MOT, an estimate of current mileage, the number of keepers and when the current keeper took over.
This is a reg check by number plate. It does not return the VIN or frame number, so match those to the V5C yourself using our VIN and frame number guide.

Where the data comes from
The free lookup uses vehicle data from a third-party supplier, which draws on vehicle registration and MOT test records. We do not run the DVLA or DVSA record systems and BikeRegCheck is not affiliated with either body, so results can lag behind the live record or be incomplete.

Why check a motorbike before you buy
A used motorbike is one of the easiest vehicles to be misled about. Mileage is simple to alter on many bikes, descriptions are often optimistic and a bike that has been dropped can be tidied up quickly.
